How to Effectively Dry Photoresist Film

An important step in the sandcarving process.

The most effective way to dry photoresist film after washout is in a photoresist film dryer, which typically takes under 10 minutes to dry the film. At room temperature, allow the stencil to dry for 20-30 minutes. When completely dry, the photoresist film returns to its uniform color. Self-adhesive photoresist regains tack once dry.
