Hexis Announces Partnership with Racing Optics on Multi-Layer Protective Films
Hexis says the Racing Optics' films will complement its own "Bodyfence" body protection products.
The France-based Hexis Group, which has its U.S. headquarters in Lawrenceville, Georgia, announces a strategic collaboration with Las Vegas-based Racing Optics Inc.
Twenty-year-old Racing Optics started out manufacturing detachable, multi-layer films used to improve the visibility and safety of race car and motorcycle drivers. Since then the company has expanded into creating multi-layer optical films used in many industries, including medical, military and industrial, and the company holds more than 35 patents on its technology.
Hexis will use Racing Optics’ multi-layer protective films for luxury, sports and racing cars. This partnership complements the development of Hexis’s “Bodyfence” protection products, which protect car bodies against external damage and dirt from sticking to the paint.
“We are delighted to be working with a family-owned American company known worldwide, for the quality of its multi-layered protective films,” says Clément Mateu, Hexis’s CEO. “This partnership allows us to offer a complete range of automotive protection for a wide range of automotive markets, including consumer, luxury, commercial and racing.”
