Gravotech and Wilson Team Up for the Super Bowl Experience

As part of the event in Miami, fans had the chance to purchase personalized footballs and other gifts.

Gravotech teamed up with Wilson Sporting Goods for the Super Bowl Experience to create personalized footballs and gifts for fans using the WeLase and LS100 engraving machines in Miami, Florida. 

The multi-faceted event was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center from January 25 to January 26 and January 29 to February 1. According to the Super Bowl Experience’s website, it was the most continuous event surrounding Super Bowl LIV, featuring interactive games, youth football clinics, autograph sessions with NFL players, and more. 

According to Gravotech, it formed a relationship with Wilson at the fan experience for the Super Bowl in Atlanta last year. 

“We developed a relationship at the fan experience Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta and were sent Wilson samples,” says Lashon Jones, U.S. Gravotech marketing manager. “The samples were tested and run on our newly released laser.”

Jones says it’s hard to say quite how many footballs were personalized at the event surrounding this year’s Super Bowl; however, the goal was to give fans a memorable experience. 

All items, which included money clips, leather wallets, and leather padfolios in addition to the footballs, needed to be purchased from Wilson at the event. Fans could choose either an NFL team logo, text of their choice, or handwriting to be marked onto the leather for them to take home and remember the experience from.
