GMG Software Wins Innovation Award
The award was given for the company's Calibration Creation Wizard product.
Germany-based GMG, a developer and supplier of high-end color management software solutions with U.S. headquarters in Hingham, Massachusetts, announces that it recently was awarded the Global Industry Label Award for Innovation, given out at Labelexpo Europe 2019.
According to the company, the award was given out for its Calibration Creation Wizard, which enables color-accurate and reproducible proofing on different substrates. It was developed to enable customers to create color-accurate mock-ups for labels, flexible packaging and cartons. The judges were impressed with how the company had connected GMG color management software with an Epson SC-S80600 to achieve accurate, reproducible proofs, the company says.
Now in its 16th edition, the awards are said to recognize the most innovative, influential and successful work from the label and package printing industry across the globe in the last twelve months.
