Giving Back: The M&R Companies Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness Through ‘Press for a Cure’ Campaign
M&R donated a KRUZER press-painted pink-to be auctioned off to raise money to fight breast cancer.
Roselle, Illinois-based screen printing equipment manufacturer The M&R Companies launches the “Press for a Cure” campaign to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The campaign is a donation initiative to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Through partnerships with the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. (NBCF) and Delta Apparel, M&R is promoting awareness with an eBay auction throughout the month for a limited-edition pink KRUZER Manual Screen-Printing Press. 100% of the proceeds benefit the NBCF. In addition to the press auction, the company says it plans to sell screen-printed breast cancer awareness garments. The 1,500 shirts are a donation from Delta Apparel, and all proceeds from garment sales will also go toward the NBCF.
“M&R is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation with the Press for a Cure initiative,” says Peter Walsh, executive vice president at M&R. “Our hopes are to raise awareness and a considerable donation for important research and development.”
