Gerber hires VP of Global Marketing to Continue Its Drive Toward Digitalization
Ketty Pillet's background and knowledge of digital communication led to her hiring, the company says.
Tolland, Connecticut-based Gerber Technology, which makes products serving a variety of industries, including sign and graphics; manufacturing and industrial; government; aircraft interiors; and many others, announces that industry veteran Ketty Pillet will join the company as vice president of global marketing.
The company says her addition will assist it in the planned product release schedule for 2019. The company says digitation and speed are becoming the “new normal” in terms of how their companies communicate with customers, and that’s why Pillet was chosen for that role. Previously, she spent 10 years in France working for Lectra as worldwide marketing director for its fashion and apparel division. Before that she spent four years as worldwide marketing director for its furniture division. Pillet also has 10 years experience as a senior sales consultant at Oracle.
“Ketty brings deep industry knowledge and the ability to build a strong brand experience as we connect with our customers,” says Mohit Uberoi, president and CEO, Gerber Technology. “Her global industry experience and strength in digital marketing will help her to hit the ground running with our leadership team.”
