Laser settings are the most important aspect of laser engraving. As there are different manufacturers of plastic for laser engraving, there are different laser settings. Speed and power are the two key factors that come together for successful engraving. To maximize efficiency, a balance must be found.

Too slow of a speed can result in the engraved area looking charred, while too fast may not penetrate the top surface to reveal the core. Similarly, too much power or not enough power will have the same effect. I recommend testing the material before making your sign or name badge and make adjustments accordingly.
