Featured Project: Videotel Players Power Tranquil Videos
Photavia says its Videotel's reliability and customer service that ensures that it will remain a client.
San Diego-based Videotel Digital, a maker of digital signage media players and interactive digital media solutions, has been tapped by Franklin, Wisconsin-based Photavia to use its players to power Photavia’s video products.
Photavia is a video production company that specializes in using video as therapy. It produces videos designed to engage, educate and sooth audiences, and they target such environments as health care, schools, transportation facilities, homes for the elderly, and other public settings.
Along with the images is some narration and factual information that tells the story behind each photo. It is, according to Photavia, using videos as therapy.
Videotel Digital and Photavia have partnered up to project this imagery through Videotel’s VP70XD industrial-grade digital signage media player.
“Photavia’s clients require that our positive content is played 24/7 to change the environments they’re in,” says Mark Winter, director of media content for Photavia. “To that end, the VP70XD media player has been a workhorse for us in venues like schools, hotels, healthcare, and senior facilities. In one case, the media player has been running nonstop for over two years without a whimper of slowing down! With that remarkable track record, interestingly enough, it’s Videotel’s excellent customer service that’s the standout. From the top down their immediate and thorough attention to detail has been nothing short of spectacular. Their company and their products have been a huge asset to Photavia’s growth. I have to say a big thank you for that.”
Photavia says its “devotion lies in decreasing the noise and visual pollution that too often inundates society at every hand.”
Photavia says its images are pulled mainly from The Life (Magazine) Picture Collection.
