Featured Project: Signage and Wayfinding for St. Louis Ballpark Village

Selbert Perkins Design (SPD) recently collaborated with the St Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Companies for St. Louis Ballpark Village—a district adjacent to Cardinals Stadium in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

The signage and wayfinding master plan developed by SPD creates a mixed-use district, solidifying it as St. Louis’s premier entertainment destination. The area includes the entertainment venue Fox Sports Midwest Live!, a newly constructed Live! by Loews hotel, an office tower, and the One Cardinal Way residential tower.

SPD designed the signage and environmental graphics for all of these destinations and a complete streetscape design, which included gateways and wayfinding throughout the district. The streetscape design also included public art and storytelling in the environment, including celebratory elements for the Cardinals like World Series pennants, Hall of Fame player medallions, and a 35′ tall World Series trophy to celebrate the Cardinals’ 11 championships.

SPD is a women-owned and small-business certified, multidisciplinary design firm. SPD has collaborated with various worldwide and notable clients to create landmarks and gateways, branded environments, public art, signage, and wayfinding solutions.
