Featured Project: Matching Message to Location Important in Digital Signage
Signagelive's software has the ability to make each individual sign match its location.
Signagelive, UK-based providers of a cloud-based digital signage platform as well as software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology, was recently hired by fellow UK company Clip ‘n Climb, a chain of climbing stores that was first launched in New Zealand.
Designed to appeal to youth and inexperienced climbers, Clip ‘n Climb centers have a variety of different types of climbs available to choose from, most completely different than a traditional climbing wall.
The Clip ‘n Climb center in Ipswich, England, the only one in the UK, is the largest such center in the world.
England-based Hughes Smart, the integrator for this project, immediately realized the site’s potential for signage, with multiple screens populating various areas of the center, and the company chose Signagelive’s platform for the digital signage.
The ability to tailor programming to different screens was critical, Hughes Smart says. The downstairs screens are used to greet guests when they arrive, to play safety videos, and to mark significant customer achievements, while the screens upstairs in the café area are primarily used for advertising, whether it’s external or Clip ‘n Climb advertising its own products.
