Featured Project: Living Large(-Format) in Saskatchewan

Founded in Saskatoon, Sakatchewan, in 1998, Pelican Signs is a full-service sign and graphics shop.

This featured project comes from the Canadian city of Saskatoon, the largest city in the province of Saskatchewan. At about a quarter-million people, Saskatoon is the nearest cultural and entertainment draw for the thousands of Canadians living out in the hinterlands in that primarily agricultural province.

For more than 20 years, Pelican Signs has been delivering signs and graphics for Saskatoon and surrounding areas. The company’s reputation has spread since it launched in 1998, and it’s now able to ship product anywhere in North America.

Aside from its intellectual talent, the company boasts an impressive array of equipment, including an HP Latex printer; two Roland printers, a 74″ and a 54″; a Summa wide-format cutter; a Canon printer; a Rastek flatbed printer; a Seal laminator; a LaserPro laser engraver; and a Techno CNC router. When it comes to wide-format printing, the company claims that “no job is too large.” These wall banners help illustrate their point.
