Featured Project: Leyard and Planar Screens Fly High in Atlanta

The signs help with wayfinding and disseminating information, as well as delivering advertising messages.

This featured project is from the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where Clear Channel Airports has installed dozens of LED and LCD displays from Chinese electronics manufacturer Leyard, a maker of LED products, and Portland, Oregon-based digital display manufacturer Planar, a Leyard company.

Throughout Atlanta Airport’s main concourse in seven terminals, 68 Leyard TWA Series (TWA1.8) LED displays are mounted to the ceiling. A total of 43 Clarity Matrix LCD Video Walls System displays are wall-mounted in varying configurations, including 4×2, 3×2, 3×3 and 2×2.

Additionally, 34 Planar UltraRes 4K LCD displays are installed in baggage claim, delivering an ultra-high resolution platform for communicating and advertising to travelers.
