Featured Project: Britten Outfits New Denver-Area Shopping Center with Signage
Britten's backlit LED frames and large-format banners can be found throughout the 94-acre center.
Traverse City, Michigan-based Britten Inc., a full-service, large-format graphics and print shop, did much of the signage throughout a new shopping center called the Denver Premium Outlets in the Denver suburb of Thornton, which opened at the end of September.
The $134 million, 94-acre Denver Premium Outlets offers a mix of fashion brands, athletic apparel and a diverse range of dining options. It was developed by the Simon Property Group.
Britten’s large-format print and exclusive hardware can be seen throughout the center. The company says it was integrated into the design of the center in such a way as to create a seamless retail experience. The company’s Britewal LED backlit frames and BannerDrop ceiling hoists are found throughout, and and banner brackets highlight fashion brands and dining options available on the premises. The company also installed heavy duty outdoor standees to communicate with shoppers about the various amenities available to them.
More than 72 businesses occupy the center, and much of its architecture takes its cue from the Rocky Mountains. It is expected to generate more than $100 million annually for the town of Thornton.
