Featured Project: Axiom Design & Build Uses 970 Feet of Frosted Film

Axiom Design & Build, a sign and fabrication company, recently completed a privacy installation project using 970 linear feet of Solyx dual frost gradient film.

According to project manager Alex Khalfan, one aspect that made this project unique was the lead time. The Axiom team had two days to get the film installed. It worked directly behind the glass manufacturer and followed them throughout the project to get it done. The team had five installers onsite installing window film.

When it came to challenges, Khalfan says, “The main application challenges we faced was sourcing the material and getting it on time. This project was approved the first week of February (and) due to the weather there were a lot of delays getting the material.”

As far as the application to the glass surface, he says it was very straightforward. The team used a Rapid Tac solution to install the film.
