Featured Project: A Banner Day for this Seamless Wrap
Tensioning Solutions makes aluminum extruders used for framing both indoor and outdoor banner frames of all sizes.
This featured project comes to us out of Baltimore, where a five-story parking garage needed to be concealed behind a wrap made of printed vinyl mesh.
The 17,000 square feet of vinyl was printed by Dodge-Chrome Inc. of Silver Spring, Maryland.
Dodge-Chrome did the installation, and used TS44 extrusions made by Tampa, Florida-based Tensioning Solutions, which manufactures aluminum extruder bars used to fabricate custom frames for projects such as this. The building wrap includes 22 panels, most of which are 20′ x 45′, and the extruders allowed for the seamless appearance, as the goal was to create what looked like one giant wrap, the companies say.
The installation was done by Dodge-Chrome. The company says it’s the single largest project it has done to date.
