Global electronics manufacturer Epson Corp. announces a partnership with NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. The company says the partnership is designed to “champion the everyday benefits of Epson’s advanced printing solutions.”

As part of the agreement, O’Neal and Epson say they will focus on providing simple printing solutions for home, business, and education. Shaq acts as an ambassador for the company’s products in a series of TV, in-store, social media, and other appearances.

“Between family and work, life keeps me pretty busy,” O’Neal comments. “I’m always on the lookout for products that make everyday tasks quick and easy so I can focus on the things that matter most. Epson simply offers the best printing and home technology out there.”

“Shaq’s fun and dynamic personality engages a wide variety of fans and customers from around the world,” says Keith Kratzberg, president and CEO of Epson America. “His energetic approach to life, outstanding business acumen, and passion for technology make him the perfect partner for Epson.”

In addition to printing solutions, the partnership also features an initiative entitled “Epson and Shaq Give Back,” a collaboration with Communities In Schools (CIS). CIS works to empower students to stay in school and follow through to graduation. Through the project, Epson provides a suite of technology products, including EcoTank printers, interactive projectors, and scanners, to schools across the country. By supplying said equipment, Epson says the program ensures “more schools gain access to the technology tools they need to help their students stay focused, motivated, and moving forward.”

“Epson and I share the same passion for education and giving back,” adds O’Neal. “We can’t wait to roll this program out.”
