The course is designed to take 2-3 hours with a DSF certification at the end, provided you belong to a member company.
The Warrenton, Virginia-based nonprofit Digital Signage Federation, a nonprofit trade organization serving the digital signage industry, is offering members and others a way to invest in their professional development by becoming DSF-certified.
The Digital Signage Foundation introduces a self-paced, online course called DSF Foundations. The course, which covers the fundamentals of digital signage, is designed to take about 2-3 hours and includes different chapters with quizzes and a comprehensive assessment at the end of the course.
The course is being offered complimentary to any current member (one per member company) and additional members may purchase the course for $149. Those completing the course will receive a DSF Foundations digital credential, as long as they are part of a member company.
The DSF website has a form to fill out to register for the course, and then once approved you will receive a notice from the learning management system called SmarterU.
