Denver’s Midwest Sign to Host Onyx Workshop
The one-day workshop will go into great detail on how to get the most out of your Onyx software.
Denver-based Midwest Sign & Screen Supply Co., a full-service sign and graphics shop and a member of the Colorado Sign Association, is hosting an “Onyx Tips & Tricks” workshop at its facilities all day on Wednesday, December 12.
Salt Lake City-based Onyx Graphics is a developer of RIP software and workflow systems for the signage and commercial graphics industry.
The morning session, from 9 a.m.-noon, will be Onyx Color Management, which will cover topics such as establishing your own color profiles; getting the best possible color out of your devices; and how to print faster and save on ink. The afternoon session, which goes from 1-4 p.m., will be Onyx Workflow and Tools, and topics include quick sets; job editor; print and cut; and processing variable data.
The cost of the day’s training is $75-a $300 value, according to the company-and $50 for each additional person a company sends. Lunch will be provided and there will be a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.
