GREENVILLE, S.C.-Delta Apparel announces the appointment of Glenda E. Hood to the company’s board of directors.

Hood joins the Delta Apparel board of directors with more than 40 years of experience in business, organizational and political leadership roles which span multiple industries and sectors.  Hood’s background also includes a political career which concluded in 2005 as Secretary of State in Florida and three terms as mayor and CEO for the city of Orlando.

Since the conclusion of her political career, Hood has provided business development and strategic consulting services to companies as well as business, government, and civic leaders nationwide.
