Brookings, South Dakota-based LED display manufacturer Daktronics announces its 36th annual Sales Expo event coming up Wednesday-Friday, Sept. 18-20, at its headquarters in Brookings, about 60 miles north of Sioux Falls.

The Sales Expo gives attendees to learn about the latest in the world of LED signage, featuring hands-on activities, special presentations, and plenty of networking opportunities.

Culminating the three-day event will be a banquet, which will include the naming of the company’s Sign Design Contest winner. A competition among Sales Expo attendees, the winner is chosen by their fellow attendees.

“This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity,” says Taylor Nilson, on-premise market manager for Daktronics. “Every year, I’m amazed by what sign companies achieve after taking a couple days to intensely focus on their LED sign business. The most valuable and irreplaceable component is the collaboration that takes place between the sign companies themselves and the experts that they get to know personally.”

Attendance to Sales Expo is free, with meals included. The event’s keynote speaker will be Steve Clark, aka “The Sales Psychologist,” known internationally for his expertise and sales training and marketing consulting.

At the conclusion of the event, interested individuals can opt to participate in a pheasant hunt or a golfing outing in the Brookings area.

Sales Expo is put on by Daktronics with valuable assistance from an advisory board comprised of Scott BertrandColortech of Wisconsin; Craig Breitsprecher, La Crosse Sign Company; Daryl Kirt, Scenic Sign Corporation; and Kyle Thompson, Mack Thompson & Son, Inc.
