Corel Names 2019 International Design Contest Winners
The annual global conference is designed to showcase the talents of CorelDRAW users, the company says.
Ottawa, Canada-based Corel Corp. announces the winners of its 2019 CorelDRAW International Design Contest. The company says the results present a wide range of design projects, and that the contest “celebrates the talent, skill, and techniques of CorelDRAW designers worldwide.”
Submissions for the content included projects created with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 and CorelDRAW Technical Suite 2019. Corel names Rogelio Hernandez (aka Roy Monster) from Mexico as the grand prize winner for his illustration “Angel of Fire.” Hernandez’s other category wins from the contest include technical drawing and design and speed drawing video. Additional winners include:
- Branding and marketing: Irfan Taufik, Indonesia
- Signage and vehicle wraps: Joseph Diaz, United States
- Apparel and textiles: Marthin Anthony Millado, Philippines
- Student: Ahmad Zahraturrafiq, Indonesia

The judging process for the contest featured multiple sources from throughout the graphics industry, including participants from SDG and sister publication Printwear.
