Considerations for High-Volume Sandcarving Projects

Protect your profit margins and save labor time with this tip from Liz Haas, Rayzist.

Larger orders typically mean lower profit margins since quantity usually means a discount. Review your process and labor time. Save on these two items to protect profit margins. Consider a custom mask service to produce your photomask stencils; this service saves you labor time for a minimal cost. Increase the mask size to a 1″ border to remove the step of taping. By removing the step of taping, this saves labor time. With a large order, you may consider buying power to reduce costs for necessary supplies.
