BrightSign Ships TAA-Compliant Media Player for U.S. Government Agencies
The new players are exactly like the company's original XT1144, except the manufacturing is different to make it TAA-compliant.
Los Gatos, California-based digital signage media player manufacturer BrightSign announces that it has come out with a player manufactured in accordance with the government’s Trade Agreements Act.
Because the BrightSign XT1144-T, a variant of the company’s XT1144, is TAA-compliant, that means it can be sold into government agencies within the United States.
The Trade Agreements Act requires the U.S. government to purchase products only made in the U.S. or in certain designated countries.
According to BrightSign, the performance and specifications of the XT1144-T are identical to the original model XT1144.
