In the medium of sandcarving, the smaller production-run pieces on glass, crystal, stone – or at least your personalization products – command a higher dollar with the lower quantity of items, so you can actually charge more for your smaller production runs. How to get a customer to order more than one or two items would be to build in a monthly or annual program for their personalization needs; that could be something that could be bought long-term or a “buy it now and we’ll sandcarve it later” concept.
