Fairfax, Virginia-based AVIXA (the Audio/Visual and Integrated Experience Association) announces it is expanding its commitment to the hospitality industry by partnering with Questex Hospitality Group.

Questex is a consulting company that connects the hospitality industry with their prospective customers and markets. Questex brands include Hotel Management magazine, HOTEC Design, and the Annual Hotel Conference, among others.

Together, AVIXA and Questex hope to raise awareness of the benefits that the integration of audio/visual solutions into hotel design and operation can create better guest experiences and bring more opportunities to open new revenue channels.

The global market for professional A/V products and services in hospitality is forecast to reach $7.5 billion in 2019 and grow at a compound annual growth rate of 6 percent through 2023, according to AVIXA’s Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis report.

To get its message out, AVIXA plans on attending hospitality-related events put on by Questex, such as its Annual Hotel Conference.

“Consumers have shifted from spending money on things to spending on experiences, and the hospitality AV market is set to capitalize on this trend,” says Brad Grimes, senior director of communications for AVIXA. “Through our participation at leading hospitality events, the industry will learn how AV technology can redefine the traditional guest experience.”
