Avery Dennison Recognizes 2019 Suppliers of Distinction At Global Awards Ceremony
Companies receiving the honor were required to meet performance metrics in each of four categories: sustainability, quality, service and growth.
Mentor, Ohio-based Avery Dennison, makers of pressure-sensitive vinyls, coatings and labels used in a variety of industries, including sign making and vehicle wraps, recently honored 18 pressure-sensitive industry suppliers during the company’s annual supplier recognition ceremony, held in early April in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
“This is our opportunity to celebrate suppliers from around the world that meet or exceed our standards for customer satisfaction and performance,” says Garrett Gabel, vice president, Global Finance and Procurement, Label and Graphic Materials. “Thanks to their dedication to the values highlighted in this program, we are able to continue to collaborate, innovate, and ultimately grow with our customers.”
The Avery Dennison Supplier Distinction Award Program considers four areas of excellence required to maintain a competitive advantage in an increasingly demanding industry, the company says: sustainability, quality, service and growth. To be considered eligible for recognition, a supplier must have met key metrics in each of the four areas.
“We’re also pleased to honor three suppliers with a ‘Special Recognition’ designation. In the face of natural disaster, capacity challenges, and other special circumstances, these suppliers went above expectations to help us ensure uninterrupted service to our customers,” says Gabel.
