Audio Authority Integrates BrightSign’s System on a Chip Solution

Audio Authority's roots date back to 1976, when it first opened as a retail outlet selling high-end audio equipment.

brightsign_275x275Los Gatos, California-based digital signage media player manufacturer BrightSign announces that Lexington, Kentucky-based Audio Authority, makers of interactive merchandising and display products, is using BrightSign’s System-on-a-Chip solution in its latest line of media hubs.

According to Audio Authority, BrightSign’s hardware and companion software provides the ideal platform to offer near-limitless connectivity and interactivity potential. Audio Authority’s media hubs offer audio and video user interface, as well as other types of sensors and device control mechanisms.

The three Audio Authority BrightSign-enabled media hubs-all of which will be available soon-include its 1812 Media Hub, which produces native 1080p video and high fidelity audio, with all the custom interaction made possible by BrightSign’s BrightAuthor software; the 1824 Media Hub Distribution Amp, which adds multiple video outputs to the Media Hub platform; and the 1826 Media Hub/Audio Switch, that combines interactivity with audio switching and distribution.
