Atlona Names HWPco New Southeast U.S. Rep
As part of this agreement HWPco will offer training sessions at its facilities to introduce Atlona products to its customers.
San Jose, California-based Atlona, a global provider of audio-visual distribution solutions to a variety of industries, including retail, has forged a new partnership with The HWP Co., an Atlanta-based company that distributes audio/visual products throughout the Southeast U.S. for several manufacturers.
The HWP Co.’s six-state territory includes Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.
HWPco’s sales team will actively promote Atlona commercial AV products as part of its broad portfolio, with a goal toward supplying complete solutions to systems integrators that can serve the A/V needs of entire facilities. Trey Gunter, principal and director of sales for HWPco, says he believes that Atlona clearly understands the need and opportunities for interoperability to best support today’s increasingly networked A/V ecosystem.
“Partnering with Atlona just made sense for us because our strategy has always been to work with best-in-class manufacturers and promote market-leading products in a synergistic fashion within the full array of brands we represent,” says Gunter. “What made representing Atlona especially appealing is their broad, robust product portfolio.”
Gunter adds that as part of this new partnership, HWPco intends to support the sales and marketing process by providing technical expertise and support services, as well as regularly hosting training events, one of which has already taken place.
