Signagelive, UK-based providers of a cloud-based digital signage platform as well as software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology, is partnering with Denmark-based ArtPlayer, a TV streaming and digital signage art service, to make its content available through its platform.

Signagelive says its customers will be able to select from thousands of high-resolution modern and classical artworks for playback on their Signagelive-powered players and SoC (System-on-a-Chip) displays. Fully integrated with Signagelive, ArtPlayer users can create and publish art directly into Signagelive, without the need to update manually. All subsequent changes to content in ArtPlayer are automatically updated on Signagelive players showing the ArtPlayer content.

According to Signagelive, ArtPlayer’s content decorates and creates ambience, which makes it ideal for locations that often use Signagelive’s technology, such as for hotels, libraries, dentists, hospitals, and nursing homes. Along with having a calming effect and inspiring creativity, Signagelive says that research has shown that people work approximately 15% faster in an office with art.
