Alternative Apparel wins the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award at the ninth annual Movers & Makers Awards.

NORCROSS, Ga.-Alternative Apparel wins the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award at the ninth annual Movers & Makers Awards held by Partnership Gwinnett. HanesBrands took to Twitter to share the news.

On Thursday, March 5, Partnership Gwinnett welcomed 300-plus community leaders for the awards. According to the partnership, the event is the largest of its kind in the state of Georgia. It aims to recognize “exceptional” Gwinnett County-based manufacturers and supply chain companies of all sizes.

“Manufacturing and supply chain companies play a pivotal role in Gwinnett’s economic vitality,” says Jassy Ji, Partnership Gwinnett’s project manager. “The Movers & Makers Awards strive to celebrate cutting-edge innovation in the industry and highlight the companies that will keep our community competitive in the technology-driven global market.”

According to Partnership Gwinnett, the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award recognizes businesses that go “above and beyond” to make their community and company a great place to be.
