Almo Corporation Names Gary Bannett Chief Financial Officer
Gary Bannettt's background includes working in a variety of industries at companies large and small.
Philadelphia-based Almo Professional A/V, a distributor of professional audio and visual equipment, announces the naming of Gary Bannett as chief financial officer. Bannett succeeds Matt Elkes, who is retiring after serving as CFO at Almo Corp. for 25 years.
Bannett joined Almo in January of this year as senior vice president of finance. Previously, he led finance and accounting operations as CFO for four years at Prometheus Global Media, operators of Billboard Magazine and the Hollywood Reporter. Bannett has served in senior financial management positions for several other companies in the entertainment and publishing markets for more than 20 years. Bannett is based out of Almo’s corporate headquarters in Philadelphia.

Elkes will continue to serve Almo as a member of its advisory board.
