Almo Announces Details on Two Upcoming Fall ‘E4 Experience’ Events
Almo's E4 events are in their 10th years and continue to grow in popularity each year, the company says.
Maryland-based Almo Professional A/V, a distributor of professional audio and visual equipment, announces details of its upcoming E4 Experience events being held in the New York City area on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and Atlanta on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Almo is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its E4 format; the company says its long-time partnership with AVIXA-the Audio/Visual and Integrated Experience Association-allows it to offer a range of high-quality AV courses and certifications worth CTS Renewal Units (Rus) to E4 Experience attendees.
The two E4 Experience stops will include more than 40 manufacturing exhibitors, courses led by an all-star lineup of industry experts, and special autograph sessions with local professional athletes.
“It has been exceptional to watch the E4 format blossom over the last 10 years into an experience that AV resellers and integrators cannot and will not miss,” says Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing and communications for Almo Corp. “Our attendees rely on E4 for local connections, as a way to earn free, high quality industry education, and to see the latest AV gear, especially if they are unable to travel to major industry trade shows.”
New manufacturing partners that will have a presence at the events include Absen; ClearOne; MXL; Netgear; Wolfvision; and Yamaha.
Two certification opportunities being offered at the events include the Digital Signage Certification and the SDVoE AV-Over-IP Design Certification. Other courses include Introduction to Windows Collaboration Displays; Digital Signage Content Strategies for Savvy Integrators; and Avoiding Pitfalls in AV Installation and Content.
As mentioned, Almo is hosting local sports stars at each venue who are available for autographs and photos. Those sessions are sponsored by Sharp and will take place in the Sharp booth on the exhibit floor.
The New York Metro E4 Experience will feature an appearance by Lawrence Taylor, former New York Giant linebacker, NFL MVP and Hall-of-Famer.
For the Atlanta E4 Experience, Anthony Jerome “Spud” Webb will make an appearance. At only 5’7″, the former point guard for the Atlanta Hawks was one of the shortest players in NBA history but is known for winning the NBA Slam Dunk Contest held at the All-Star Game each year.
