Allen Industries Receives Prestigious International Award
Allen Industries was one of the few companies to receive an award out of thousands of entries.
Greensboro, North Carolina-based Allen Industries, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of signage and architectural elements, recently received the North American Manufacturer of the Year for International Trade award given by the International Trade Council.
According to the ITC, its “Go Global” awards are designed to pay tribute to the achievements of the many exporters and export-related service providers who drive the global economy through their leadership, business savvy, entrepreneurship and innovation.
This year the conference received more than 3,700 applicants.
At the awards ceremony, which was part of the Think Global Conference held this year in Chicago in October, Tom Allen, president of Allen Industries, presented a short synopsis of the company’s achievements to the judges and to the audience of government ministers that represented 28 nations.
