Why should an awards shop add signage to its arsenal?

Signage is an important part of this industry and a great way for an awards shop to diversify its business. Signage is highly profitable, particularly ADA compliant signs. 

The more creative an awards shop is, the more profitable it can be. For example, adding stand-offs to create dimension with a sign is an option which can differentiate you from your competitor. Another option is decorating the sign with a four-color process using a company’s logo. 

Not every awards shop has this capability, but I never recommend turning down a job. Build a network within your area. This industry is unique in that competing sign shops often work together, and a single job can be shared by two or more sign shops.
