What type of artwork do you need to run with a fiber laser?

Most fiber laser systems will accommodate vector files or bitmaps. However, 3-D (over curve marking) can only be done using vector files. Bitmaps are reserved for flat marking only.

When preparing the artwork to engrave, vector files need to be unfilled and with the backgrounds removed. Bitmaps just need to be cleaned up and in grayscale or monochrome to accomplish the best results.
