First things first. Instruct the host that you need a dedicated outlet to plug your press into. Prior to the party, take an inventory of your products you plan on taking: paper, ink, heat tape, all the items you need to have on hand. Order any that you are low on. Plan what you need to bring with you. This does get easier after the first party. Here is a list of what I always bring with me:
- Printer
- Press
- Computer
- Paper
- Stock samples
- Small bills for change
- Bucket for water
- Heat gloves
- Order forms
- Heat tape
- Business cards
- Credit card swiper
