What sectors does fire-resistant embroidery thread serve?

As industries have increased their safety concerns and raised safety standards, we’ve seen the need for fire-resistant embroidery thread flourish. Fire-resistant embroidery thread was developed for motorsports where clothing is heavily branded, petroleum plants, aeronautics, and any industry where safety standards are mandated federally or privately. Children’s sleepwear is another sector where safety standards must often be met by all materials involved.

Often, embroiderers who are asked to use this thread will include fire-resistant bobbins and stabilizer, to complete the safety package and meet safety standards.

One thing to note is that fire-resistant thread is not available in a wide range of colors but does come in primary, neutral, and “baby” colors.
