What is the general equipment needed for sandcarving?

Basic equipment needs for sandcarving:

  • Blasting equipment consisting of a cabinet, a pressure blaster, a dust collector, and reclaimer
  • A computer with graphics software
  • A special art film material to print images on
  • An exposure unit
  • Art film
  • Photoresist
  • A washout station (optional)
  • Tables for product preparation, clean-up, and/or color application
  • An appropriate respirator
