For the average producer interested in creating ADA signage, the specifications for the raised letters and Braille dots will be the most immediate challenges. However, it is important for retailers to understand the concept of contrasting colors so they may provide color schemes that work with the customer’s intent and desires, while remaining compliant. Furthermore, it is extremely beneficial for those just jumping in to understand the placement of these ADA compliant signs so they can install the signage or advise the customer on the placement regulations.
