Supply Your Shop with Paper Mask

Every laser engraving shop should have paper mask available and ready to use.

Every laser engraving shop should have paper mask available and ready to use. Available in 6″- or 12″-wide rolls, this affordable masking product is a jack-of-all-trades for a wide variety of projects. The medium tack roll paper can be cleanly vaporized by the laser, leaving no residue.

Ideal for replacing factory marks with a laser-friendly masking material on substrates like engraving plastic and acrylic sheets, paper mask reduces flaming when cutting and eliminates plastic smoke residue on the top surface. Paper mask also works well for engraving wood items, protecting the top surface of coated woods from sticky smoke residue. Another application for paper mask is as a diffuser when engraving glass, which would replace the temperamental wet paper process. Color-filling is made simple when paper mask is applied to the substrate, then engraved through the mask and into the substrate. Apply color to the engraving and lift off the paper mask when the color is dry.
