When engraving several pens at a time in your laser system, you can use your laser to cut a thin material, such as acrylic, to create a fixture to hold dozens of pens on the table of your laser. Make a layout template by measuring the pen and create an outline of it for vector cutting. Duplicate the outline of the pen and cut the acrylic. Use the template outline to position the engraving text. Learning how to create placement fixtures and layout templates is the key to mass production with your laser system.
