Is it possible to embroider on the back of a mesh cap?

Some people think it’s impossible because of all the holes in the mesh. But with the right stabilizer, you can do it. Use either adhesive backing, tear-away backing, or cap backing. I recommend you use a dark backing with dark mesh caps and a white backing on lighter caps as you don’t want to see a lot of backing from the outside of the cap when you’re done. The backing is there to give the stitches something to hold on to when they are formed in the holes of the mesh. For this type of embroidery, use a sharp or ballpoint needle.
