I want to add apparel decorating to my business. What factors should I consider?

Think about potential markets where you already have relationships. That might be sports teams, schools, companies, etc. These are great places to start marketing apparel. Also, think about your physical location. If you have a walk-in type store, then impulse buys like shirts with catchy sayings on them can do well. If you are near a tourist area, apparel that ties into the area or a landmark can be big movers.
