Tips

I don’t want to turn down a job, but I don’t have the means to do it. What do I do?

Outsource that order, and still be the face of the business for your customers while growing your own business. Added perk: you’re helping to support another shop or company in the process.

A great place to start finding outsourcing partners is at tradeshows. Not only do you get to see new products and learn how the industry is developing, but you get to meet others in the same field, building relationships to help each other and have resources to grow your knowledge and business. I’ve met some of my closest friends in this industry, and I’m lucky to be in amazing groups where we bounce ideas off each other, ask each other for help, and outsource orders to regularly. It helps to have others that know the business and can guide you along the way.
