How often should you perform a check on your fume extraction unit?

Every time you use the extractor, be sure to look at the user display (all professional fume extractors have one). It will let you know if the onboard sensors detect insufficient airflow due to blockages in the filters or ducting. You can also proactively check on the filter status once a week to help you project your purchase of replacement filters in advance and avoid production interruptions. Check the ducts monthly for any build-up of dust or debris.
