Trophy shops are no longer viewed as being just a local business servicing their own community.
It is common knowledge that the local trophy store sells the well-known sports trophies to local associations. What many people may not realize is that more and more corporations are looking to trophy retailers as a business-to-business partnership. Trophy retailers are now decorating and selling higher end awards for corporate events.
With a change in perception, the target audience for trophy retailers has changed. Trophy retailers can market themselves to corporations and help support the organization’s internal goals. Corporations view the purchase of awards as a higher purpose purchase and have the budgets to spend on awards. This, in turn, gives trophy retailers the opportunities for larger margins.
