How do you care for stamp-making equipment?

If laser engraving stamps, keeping the optics and belts free of ash and rubber dust may require daily cleaning and vacuuming.

If using a photopolymer system, be sure to replace the UV lamps every few years. Although older lamps still illuminate, the coating inside of the glass tubes deteriorates over time, causing problems with the intensity of UV lamps, thereby causing problems in photopolymer curing.
