First, you can test and then calibrate your heat press using a temperature probe. We suggest using a probe over an IR thermometer because it’s more accurate. If the reading doesn’t match what the heat press says the temperature is, calibration is necessary. The owner’s manual of the heat press should explain how to calibrate temperature, depending on the manufacturer.
