Tagless labels are a great way to increase brand identity and add value to your custom apparel. It’s important to start with a blank that offers a tear-away label. Many companies are beginning to offer styles with tear-away tags because of the popularity of tagless labels.
When designing your tagless label, there are a few items that are required by law that you include. You can find these requirements on the FTC website. My suggestion would be to include your logo or brand name, company website, fabric content, garment size, country of origin, and care instructions.
A cost-efficient way to achieve a custom tagless label is with screen-printed gang sheets. Your cost per garment will be minimal. My suggestion would be to combine all of your sizes onto one gang sheet instead of placing multiple orders for each size. Keep in mind, if a majority of your sales are one particular size, you should include more of this size than the others on your gang sheet.
