I started my business off of sandcarving, and from experience I can say that it takes a lot of practice and patience but is also highly rewarding. Good areas to look into are related to tourism-based items, corporate awards, and art galleries. In my early days, my favorite jobs were for high-end art galleries that wanted to show my 3-D sandcarved pieces.
